Where and when you can drop off donations:
- At the Food Bank around opening times (Mondays 1230-1515hrs, Thursdays 1330-1615hrs. Closed Bank Holidays)
- At Transformation Community Resource Centre when the building is open.
- Large donations can be collected if you contact us to arrange.
We greatly value the goodwill and help provided by members of the local community, organisations and businesses. Any donation, large or small, will help!
WHAT WE CAN USE
Unfortunately we cannot use damaged cans or items that are past their “best before” date.
THE BASICS – tins or long life packs of:
fish, meat, baked beans or spaghetti, ready meals, peas, carrots, sweet corn, tomatoes, soup, fruit, rice pudding, custard, sauces, rice, pasta, mashed potato, couscous, 3-minute noodles, pulses (e.g. packs of dried chana dhal, beans, chick peas or lentils), sugar, tea, coffee, instant hot chocolate, squash, biscuits, cooking oil, salt, jam, long life milk and long life fruit juice
TREATS: chocolate and sweets, crisps, canned drinks, long life desserts, sponge puddings
FOR BABIES: long dated baby foods, nappies, wipes, other baby items
OTHER: clean carrier bags, pet food
TOILETRIES: toilet rolls, shampoo, shower gel, tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant, ladies sanitary items, skin cream, shaving foam
MONEY DONATIONS are also helpful to buy in items that we run short of.
